Research Database
To assist in our research, SCBI maintains a database
of bioethics citations. All the journals we receive are examined for articles
of relevance to bioethics. Each relevant article is then recorded in our
database as a citation, and we assign keywords to each citation for future
reference.
This database contains over 50,000 citations, ranging
from clinical and medical ethics, science, genetics, reproductive technology,
nursing, aged care, health law, philosophy, theology, politics, disability
rights, human life and much more.
This resource is also available for the public to access.
If you have a research project or a topic of interest, we can generate
a list of relevant articles for you to locate in our library (we only
ask that you cover photocopying costs, so bring some small change).
If you can’t make it to the Institute, please
call us and we will be able to post a list of references to you (a small
cost will be involved).
